Instructions to Authors


Submissions for publication are accepted in the areas of facility articles, scientific reports, editorials, general interest articles, software reviews and book reviews.

Facility Articles, General Interest, Editorials and Reviews

Manuscripts should be submitted in duplicate (the original and one copy). Manuscripts on formatted diskette or via email attachment are also acceptable. All copies should be clear and readable. Double-spaced typing should be adhered to throughout and the author's name should appear on all pages. Please keep a copy for your files in the event that our copies become lost. The Journal of Cognitive Rehabilitation will be styled after the guidelines provided in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association. Please conform to those guidelines for all tables, references, figures and typing. All author's names should be listed in the initial citation within the article. Et al may be used for additional citations throughout the article.

Scientific Articles

Manuscripts for scientific articles should be styled strictly by the guidelines provided in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association. Authors should refer to the "Guidelines for Nonsexist Language in APA Journals" (Publication Manual Change Sheet 2, American Psychologist, June 1977, pp. 487-494) prior to submitting scientific articles to this journal.
